Application Platform for Creatives

The AFLE Live Content Program (LCC) is a talent platform and development programme for creative storytellers across Europe. We are building a curated network of photographers, videographers, editors, designers and writers who want to be part of the future of European football media and share a passion for not only capturing compelling content but being at the forefront with engaging the next generation of American Football fans in Europe.

Applying to the LCC gives you the opportunity to be considered for future projects, assignments and programme participation but it does not guarantee selection or employment. This platform exists to identify talent, develop creators and connect them with AFLE, its clubs and partners.

This is a part-time, seasonal opportunity covering the AFLE and events in the assigned city or remote, reporting back to the Live Content team.


The Live Content Creator Program requires the use of personal professional equipment.

This role requires night and weekends through the year and requires flexibility to be available on short notice. Potential travel opportunities.



What is the LCC?

The Live Content Program is AFLE’s official creator network.
Selected applicants may be invited to:

  • Create content for AFLE digital platforms
  • Cover games & events on-site or remotely
  • Write editorial pieces for aflepro.com
  • Collaborate with league & club media teams
  • Build a professional sports media portfolio

Important:
Applying or being accepted into the LCC does not automatically result in a job, contract or paid position.
Opportunities are offered case-by-case, based on project needs and performance.

We are looking for creatives in the following areas:

Visual creators

  • Photographers

Writers & Editors

  • Sports writers
  • Feature & interview writers
  • Game reporters
  • Blog & editorial contributors
  • European American Football storytellers

You don’t need to be a professional yet but you must have a portfolio or published samples.



Requirements

  • Commitment to work on assigned scheduled dates
  • Ability to follow directions from the Live Content Management team to understand daily needs, storylines and prepare for special requests from social platforms, marketing and league needs
  • Possibility to attend home games / events within one’s market to capture pregame, in-game, and post-game content for both home and visiting teams, player marketing, and the league in photo / video formats to send over for real-time distribution
  • Ability to travel to required sites on your own
  • Content production on a nightly basis and edits on tight deadlines
  • Use of own professional equipment


Pay Rate

25 Euro per hour.

The actual offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your work experience, education, skills, and any other factors AFLE considers relevant to the hiring decision.
