AFLE Announces PhotoShelter as Official Digital Asset Management Supplier

The American Football League of Europe (AFLE) is proud to announce a partnership with PhotoShelter, a leading provider of digital asset management solutions for sports organizations and media teams.

Through this collaboration, PhotoShelter will support AFLE in managing, organizing, and distributing its growing library of photos and visual media across league platforms.

Improving media organization and access

PhotoShelter provides a professional platform that allows the league to store, tag, and organize images and visual content in one centralized system. This ensures that media assets are easy to find, access, and share across departments, franchises, and partners.

With a structured digital archive in place, AFLE can streamline workflows and ensure that official photos and graphics are consistently available for media use, communications, and marketing.

“We’re very excited to partner with PhotoShelter as our official digital asset management platform,” said Svenja Sabatini, Head of Media at AFLE. “As a trusted partner of leading global sports organizations – including the NFL and many other major leagues – PhotoShelter represents the gold standard in professional sports content management. This collaboration is a significant step forward for our league and our teams. It empowers our creators with fast, seamless access to high-quality content while ensuring that all teams have their media assets centrally organized, structured, and instantly available. It streamlines workflows, enhances collaboration, and elevates the way we tell our stories across every platform.”

Andrew Fingerman, CEO of PhotoShelter, welcomed the partnership:

“We’re excited to partner with AFLE as the world continues to embrace the excitement of American football. Building an active media library while growing a league from the ground up is no small feat. We look forward to supporting them as they document and distribute every moment to fans, broadcasters, and media partners.”

Supporting teams, media, and partners

The platform enables fast and secure sharing of images with teams, photographers, broadcasters, and media partners. This helps franchises and league staff quickly access game photos, promotional visuals, and branded content for use across social media, websites, and publications.

By simplifying content distribution, PhotoShelter helps AFLE improve efficiency while maintaining professional standards in visual communication.

Strengthening AFLE’s media infrastructure

By partnering with PhotoShelter, AFLE continues to build a modern and scalable media infrastructure for its competitions and communications. The cooperation supports the league’s commitment to structured workflows, high-quality content management, and efficient collaboration across all franchises.

Together, AFLE and PhotoShelter aim to ensure that visual storytelling across the league is organized, accessible, and ready to support the continued growth of European football.
