American Football League Europe Partners with IDTM to Deliver Independent Anti-Doping Program
The American Football League Europe (AFLE) today announced a partnership with International Doping Tests & Management (IDTM), one of the world’s leading independent anti-doping service providers. The agreement establishes a comprehensive, WADA-compliant testing program for the AFLE’s inaugural 2026 season and beyond, covering all eight franchises and their athletes across Europe.
AFLE and IDTM Unite for Clean Sport
Under the agreement, IDTM will conduct doping controls for AFLE athletes throughout the 2026 season. Testing will be carried out by IDTM’s extensive international network of Doping Control Officers (DCOs), ensuring consistent and professional standards at every competition site, from London to Florence and across all AFLE host cities.
“The AFLE was built on the principles of transparency, integrity, and long-term responsibility, and that extends to our athletes,” said Moritz Heisler, Managing Director and COO of the AFLE. “Partnering with IDTM gives us access to world-class anti-doping infrastructure from day one. We want every player, fan, and partner to know that the AFLE stands for clean competition.”
The partnership reflects the AFLE’s commitment to clean sport and the protection of every athlete competing in the league.
