American Football League Europe Partners with Irongym Arenal for the AFLE Mallorca Game
The American Football League Europe (AFLE) is proud to announce a partnership with Irongym Arenal, one of Mallorca’s best-known fitness studios, to help stage the AFLE Mallorca Game. On August 22, 2026, the London Warriors will take on Rhein Fire at the Estadio Balear in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, with kickoff scheduled for 8:00 PM (CET). Staged under the banner “Battle at the Beach,” the game marks the first time in AFLE history that a regular season game will be played outside the home stadiums of the competing teams.

Iron Gym Arenal: A Mallorca Institution
Irongym Arenal is located in S’Arenal on the Playa de Palma, just steps from the beach and close to the area’s famous nightlife strip. Founded in 2011 by German “Goodbye Deutschland – Die Auswanderer” TV personalities Caro and Andreas Robens, the studio has grown into a Mallorca institution over more than a decade, drawing a loyal community of residents, holidaymakers, and even celebrity visitors. Both Caro and Andreas are competitive bodybuilders themselves and train at the gym alongside their members, giving Iron Gym its hands-on, high-energy atmosphere.
A Partnership Built on Local Energy
For the AFLE, Irongym Arenal brings exactly the kind of local energy and visibility the league is looking for as it stages its first game outside AFLE home markets. With a well-established community on the island and a strong media presence built through German television, Caro and Andreas Robens and their gym are well positioned to help introduce American football to new audiences on Mallorca and generate excitement for the AFLE Mallorca Game among locals and visitors alike.
Fabienne Lampe, Head of Communications of the AFLE, said: “Partnering with Irongym Arenal is a fantastic addition to the AFLE Mallorca Game. Caro and Andreas Robens have built something special on the island, and their energy and community reach make them the perfect partner to help us bring this event to life. We’re excited to work with them and can’t wait to see what we’ll create together.”
Caro Robens, co-owner of Irongym Arenal, added: “When we heard about the AFLE Mallorca Game, we knew right away that Iron Gym had to be part of it. Bringing top-level American football to the island fits perfectly with everything we stand for: sport, community, and pushing people to be their best. We can’t wait to welcome fans, players, and the whole AFLE family to Mallorca and show them what our island and our gym community are all about.”
