During those seasons, he played 23 regular season games and recorded 124 tackles, five sacks, and ten tackles for loss. He also added one interception, 15 pass breakups, four forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries, returning one of them for a touchdown.

His performances underline his importance as a reliable presence in the Vikings defense.
