Defensive tackle Florian Sudi stays with the Vienna Vikings

The Vienna Vikings have extended the contract of defensive tackle Florian Sudi, keeping the First Team All-Star from last season on the roster for the 2026 campaign.

Sudi has spent the past four years with the Vikings and has become an important presence on the defensive line.

A reliable force on the defensive front

During his time in Vienna, Sudi has consistently delivered strong performances and established himself as a key player in the Vikings’ defense.

Over four seasons, he appeared in 42 games and recorded 88 tackles, three sacks, and 11.5 tackles for loss. He also added four pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.

Stability for the upcoming season

By extending Florian Sudi, the Vikings keep an experienced and proven defensive lineman who knows the system and brings consistency to the front line.

Sudi is expected to remain an important part of the defense as Vienna prepares for the 2026 season.
