Firenze Red Lions strengthen defensive front with homegrown Albert Bottey

The Firenze Red Lions have found their next defensive addition, signing Italian homegrown Albert Bottey ahead of the 2026 season. Bottey joins from the Warriors Bologna and adds another homegrown piece to a defensive front that is steadily taking shape.

Adding depth to the defensive line

Bottey steps into a defensive unit that already has quality in place. He joins Finnish defensive lineman Samuel Leppänen and British talent Lambert Jaden Ondoua on the defensive front, giving the Red Lions a diverse and developing group up front as they prepare for their debut season in 2026.
