First win on the line as Red Lions travel to London
Two teams searching for their first win of the season. One of them will find it on Sunday. The Firenze Red Lions travel to London knowing a win here would be a major statement, while the Warriors desperately need a victory in front of their home crowd to kick-start their season. This is one of the most important games of Week 4.
A game neither team can afford to lose
Both sides arrive at this game with records that do not reflect their potential. The Red Lions are 0-2 and the Warriors are 0-3, but the stories behind those numbers are more complicated than they look. Both are teams still finding themselves and working to build the kind of chemistry and consistency that wins games. Sunday represents a real opportunity for both sides, and whoever takes it will get a significant boost going into the second quarter of the season.
Cinelli and Coffee give Firenze options
The Red Lions will need their offense to show up in London. Lorenzo Cinelli was the clear number one target for Matthew McKay in Week 3, had a strong game and showed he can make things happen when the ball comes his way. He will be a name to watch again on Sunday. Alongside him, Keith Coffee II made his AFLE debut in the last game and caught a touchdown on his first appearance, an encouraging sign for a Firenze offense still looking for its best combinations. The bigger challenge for the Red Lions remains on the defensive side. Their tackling has been an issue and they urgently need to get that under control. Bringing ball carriers down early and preventing yards after contact will be key against a Warriors team that will look to keep the chains moving.
Warriors building chemistry, Lyles and Libman the connection to watch
For London this game is about more than just a win. It is about showing that the work put in through a tough opening stretch is starting to pay off. Like Firenze, the Warriors are a team still finding itself and building team chemistry. But on the offensive side at least, there are genuine reasons for optimism. Karé Lyles and American wide receiver Marcus Libman showed good connection in Week 3, and with another full week of practice together that understanding should only grow. The linebacker trio of Kadel King, David Izinyon and Emmanuel Falola have been among the most productive defenders in the league and will be tasked with keeping the Firenze offense in check.
The first win is up for grabs
This is a game that could genuinely go either way. Firenze are a team on a learning curve but with real offensive weapons. London are at home and hungry for a result that would change the mood around the club. The team that executes better in the key moments, limits their mistakes and takes care of business on both sides of the ball will walk away with their first win of the AFLE season. On Sunday afternoon, one of them will finally have it.
