Former NFL coach Everett Withers joins Alpine Rams as defensive coordinator

The Alpine Rams have added major experience to their coaching staff by appointing Everett Withers as defensive coordinator. Withers will lead the Rams’ defense in the upcoming the American Football League Europe season and work alongside head coach Joshua Fitzgerald to help make the franchise’s first season a successful one.

Decades of coaching experience

Everett Withers brings nearly 40 years of coaching experience at the highest level of football. Over his long career, he has worked at several top Division I college programs, including the University of Texas, Ohio State University, and most recently Temple University.

In addition to his college career, Withers has also coached in the NFL, with roles at the Tennessee Titans, New Orleans Saints, and New York Giants. His background highlights the level of knowledge and leadership he brings to the Rams.

Impact on players and the defense

Withers is expected to play a key role in developing the Alpine Rams’ defense and supporting the growth of the team’s players. His experience at both college and professional level will bring valuable leadership and structure to the coaching staff.
