Homegrown defensive back Fabio Testoni joins the Firenze Red Lions

The Firenze Red Lions have signed another young homegrown talent, adding 21-year-old Italian defensive back Fabio Testoni to their roster. Testoni arrives from the Frogs Legnano, where he has been building his game this season.

A young player on the rise

Testoni spent 2025 with the Skorpions Varese before moving to the Frogs Legnano this year, where he has recorded 6.5 tackles, a pass breakup and a pass deflection across six games. At 21, he is still at the very beginning of his development and the Red Lions are giving him the perfect environment to grow.

Learning from the best

One of the most exciting aspects of Testoni’s signing is the opportunity he will have to learn from the Red Lions‘ experienced American defensive backs. Training and competing alongside Trajon Cotton and Jakeen Harris on a daily basis gives the young Italian a unique chance to absorb knowledge and develop his game under the guidance of two players with high-level experience.

With Testoni on board, the Firenze Red Lions continue to blend youth and experience in their defensive backfield ahead of their debut season in 2026.
