Homegrown star Chrisman Kyei signs with Berlin Thunder

Berlin Thunder have signed one of the most talented running backs in Europe. Homegrown player Chrisman Kyei is joining the Thunder for the upcoming season in The League Europe.

With this signing, the Thunder add speed, power, and experience to their offense.

From youth football to national recognition

Kyei began his football career with the Spandau Bulldogs. He later played for the Berlin Adler in the German Football League Juniors.

In the 2022 season, he had a breakout year and won the Offensive Player of the Year award. His strong performances made him one of the top young talents in German football.

Strong season in the ELF

Last season, Kyei played for the Hamburg Sea Devils in the European League of Football. In twelve regular season games, he showed his quality at the professional level and earned a nomination for the Offensive Rookie of the Year award.

He carried the ball 167 times for 847 rushing yards and five touchdowns. His running style made him a constant threat for opposing defenses.

A complete offensive weapon

Kyei also proved that he can help in the passing game. He caught 29 passes for 188 yards and one touchdown, becoming an important target for his quarterback.

His ability to contribute as both a runner and a receiver makes him a very valuable offensive player.

A new chapter in the capital

Now, Kyei starts a new chapter with Berlin Thunder. By signing him, the Thunder secure not only one of Europe’s most promising running backs, but also a player with strong experience in German and European football.

He will now go on the hunt for touchdowns in The League Europe and look to make an immediate impact for Berlin.
