London Warriors sign seven-time Britbowl champion Dee Williams as backup quarterback
The London Warriors have added homegrown quarterback Dee Williams to their roster. Williams is expected to serve as backup to starter Karé Lyles and brings an extraordinary level of experience and success in British football to the Warriors‘ quarterback room.
A Britbowl legend
Williams is one of the most decorated players in British American football history. The 32-year-old has won seven Britbowl championships with the London Warriors, a remarkable achievement that speaks to both his talent and his deep connection to the club. He also claimed a Division 1 championship with Kingston Cougars University, adding further silverware to an already impressive trophy cabinet.
Experience and leadership in the quarterback room
While Williams is expected to line up behind Karé Lyles as the backup quarterback, his value to the Warriors goes well beyond what happens on the field. Seven Britbowl titles bring an unmatched level of experience, leadership and winning mentality to a first-year AFLE franchise that is building its culture from the ground up.
With Williams on board, the London Warriors have a quarterback room with both talent and championship pedigree ahead of their inaugural AFLE season.
