London Warriors strengthen interior offensive line with Christophe Atkinson
The London Warriors have made another quality addition to their offensive line, signing Christophe Atkinson ahead of their inaugural AFLE season. Atkinson brings a wealth of experience from college football, the CFL, the UFL and the GFL to the Warriors‘ offensive front.
A decorated college career at Ohio University
Atkinson spent five seasons with the Ohio Bobcats, developing into one of the most reliable and consistent offensive linemen in the MAC conference. He started 38 games across his college career and was part of offensive units that consistently ranked among the most productive in the conference. His academic achievements were equally impressive, earning Academic All-MAC honors four times and Academic All-District recognition twice, making him one of the most well-rounded players in the program.
Professional experience across multiple leagues
After college, Atkinson went on to gain professional experience at the highest levels of the game. He spent time with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the CFL and the St. Louis Battlehawks in the UFL before making his way to European football with the Potsdam Royals in the GFL. There he truly made his mark, earning First Team All-GFL honors and winning the Pancake Trophy twice as the offensive lineman with the most knockdowns, establishing himself as one of the top offensive linemen in German football.
A complete profile for the Warriors
Atkinson brings exactly the kind of experience, versatility and proven production that the London Warriors are looking for as they build their roster. His combination of college pedigree, professional experience across three leagues and individual accolades in European football makes him one of the most accomplished offensive linemen in the AFLE.
With Atkinson on board, the London Warriors continue to build an offensive line with serious credentials ahead of their debut season in 2026.
