Offensive lineman Yasir Raji returns to Rhein Fire

Rhein Fire continue to strengthen their offensive line with the signing of Yasir Raji, who returns to the franchise after previously playing for the team.

Back after a season abroad

Last season, Raji played for the Madrid Bravos, where he followed former Rhein Fire offensive coordinator Andrew Weidinger, who was working there as head coach. In Madrid, Raji proved his value as a strong and reliable anchor on the offensive line.

Versatile weapon on offense

During his earlier time with Rhein Fire, Raji was not only important in pass protection and blocking, but was also used as a surprise weapon in short-yardage situations. The coaching staff occasionally lined him up as a running back or fullback on key third downs, fourth downs, or goal-line plays.

Important depth for the new season

With Yasir Raji back on the roster, Rhein Fire add experience, strength, and versatility to their offensive line as they prepare for the upcoming the American Football League Europe season.
