Panthers Wroclaw at Firenze Red Lions moved forward for player safety

Sunday’s game between Panthers Wroclaw and Firenze Red Lions has been moved forward by 30 minutes. The match will now kick off at 2:30 PM CET instead of 3:00 PM CET, with player safety the driving force behind the decision.

The summer heat in Florence has prompted the league to act. The additional 30 minutes will allow for longer and more frequent water and shade breaks for players, coaches and staff throughout the game, ensuring the best possible conditions for everyone involved. Player health is the priority and the schedule adjustment reflects that commitment.

There will also be a specific focus on kit selection for this fixture. The Firenze Red Lions will wear their red jerseys at home, while Panthers Wroclaw will take to the field in white, a deliberate choice to help manage the impact of the heat on the players.
