Paris Lights sign homegrown running back Jean-Charles Moukouri
The Paris Lights have added another player to their roster for the 2026 The League Europe season. French running back Jean-Charles Moukouri joins the club and brings solid experience from four years in the European League of Football.
A familiar face in European football
Moukouri, 31, began his ELF career with the Stuttgart Surge, where he spent two seasons in Germany. He then moved back to France to join the Paris Musketeers for another two years. Across all four seasons, he appeared in 42 games, mostly in a backup role.
Reliable numbers as a backup
Despite not being a starter, Moukouri made his carries count. In his ELF career he totalled 165 carries for 666 rushing yards, averaging over four yards per carry. He also found the end zone four times. Numbers that show a dependable and efficient runner.
Staying in France
After his time with the Musketeers, Moukouri stays in the country and joins the Paris Lights. The move keeps him in familiar surroundings as he looks to compete for playing time in the backfield ahead of the 2026 season.
With Moukouri on board, the Paris Lights add a proven ELF veteran to their running back room.
