Rhein Fire land impact defender Cam’ron Kelly

Rhein Fire have strengthened their defense with the signing of American defensive back Cam’ron Kelly. The move was announced even before the addition of Nazir Streater, adding another high-level athlete to the roster.

Kelly brings strong college credentials and valuable experience to the Fire secondary.

Standout background in the United States

Coming out of high school, Kelly was considered one of the top defensive backs in the state of Virginia. He went on to play college football at the University of North Carolina before spending one season at Louisville.

During his college career, Kelly appeared in 47 games and recorded 206 tackles, five tackles for loss, six interceptions, 13 pass breakups, and one forced fumble. His production and consistency made him a reliable presence in the defensive backfield.

First experience in Europe

Kelly already gained his first experience in European football last season. He joined the Madrid Bravos late in the year and made an immediate impact.

In three regular season games and one playoff game, he recorded an interception and a tackle for loss, showing his ability to adapt quickly to a new league and environment.

A dangerous duo in the secondary

With Cam’ron Kelly now in the lineup, Rhein Fire add another dynamic playmaker to their defense. Together with Nazir Streater, he is expected to form a strong and dangerous duo in the secondary.

Both players bring speed, physicality, and playmaking ability, creating a serious challenge for opposing offenses in the upcoming season.
