Rhein Fire retain team tackle leader Marius Kensy

One of the most important defensive players of Rhein Fire remains with the team. Linebacker Marius Kensy, who led the team in tackles last season, will continue to play for Rhein Fire in the franchise’s first season in The League Europe.

Keeping Kensy on the roster means keeping leadership, consistency, and production on defense.

Proven performance over five seasons

Kensy has spent the past five years competing at a high level in European football. He began his journey with the Cologne Centurions before joining Rhein Fire.

With Rhein Fire, the 27-year-old became a back-to-back champion and delivered strong performances year after year.

Over five seasons, Kensy appeared in 55 games and recorded 395 tackles, 11.5 sacks, and 35 tackles for loss. He also added one pick-six, 12 pass breakups, five forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.

Leadership and reliability

These numbers highlight not only his impact but also his consistency. Kensy has proven that he can deliver in key moments and remain a reliable presence in the middle of the defense.

By retaining Marius Kensy, Rhein Fire secure more than just strong statistics. They keep a trusted linebacker who brings experience, intensity, and a winning mentality to the team.
