Rhein Fire sign defensive import Miche Vandekerkhof

The Rhein Fire defense continues to take shape with the signing of Belgian defensive lineman Miche Vandekerkhof. The experienced defender will strengthen the defensive front as the team prepares for the upcoming season.

Vandekerkhof brings valuable international experience and physical presence to the Fire roster.

Experience across Europe

Most recently, Vandekerkhof played for the Raiders Tirol in the European League of Football. In eleven games, he recorded 17 tackles, half a sack, and two pass breakups, contributing solid performances on the defensive line.

Before that, he competed in the German Football League. He spent time with the Braunschweig Lions and previously with the Potsdam Royals, where he was part of a championship-winning team.

Strengthening the defensive line

With his size, experience, and versatility, Vandekerkhof adds depth and stability to the Rhein Fire defensive unit. His background in different European leagues gives him the knowledge and adaptability needed to compete at a high level.

By signing Miche Vandekerkhof, Rhein Fire continue to build a strong and competitive defense for the season ahead.
