The playoff picture after week 12
The field is set. Four teams remain in the hunt for the inaugural AFLE Gold Bowl, and after a week 12 that delivered some of the most dramatic football of the season, the stakes have never been higher. Here is where things stand.

How the bracket looks
If the season ended today, London Warriors would travel to Vienna Vikings in one semifinal, while Panthers Wroclaw would head to Rhein Fire in the other. The Fire are the only team with their seeding confirmed after clinching the North/West Conference title, securing a home playoff game. For the remaining three teams, the exact seeds will be decided over the final two weeks of the regular season.
Who is out
Alpine Rams, Firenze Red Lions, Berlin Thunder and Paris Lights have all been eliminated from playoff contention. Berlin Thunder’s defeat against Rhein Fire and the Paris Lights‘ loss in London last weekend brought both teams‘ seasons to an end, completing the picture of the final four.
Two weeks to go
The regular season may still have two weeks to run, but the playoff race is decided. What remains is the fight for position, home advantage and momentum heading into the postseason. The four seeds are still to be confirmed, and with games like week 12 as a benchmark, the football ahead promises to be well worth watching.
