Veteran defensive back Joshua Poznanski stays with Berlin Thunder

Berlin Thunder have secured an important player for their defensive backfield. Veteran defensive back Joshua Poznanski will remain part of the Thunder defense for the upcoming season.

The 30-year-old defender brings a lot of experience to the team and has been a reliable presence in the secondary throughout his career.

Proven experience in European football

Poznanski has spent the last five years competing in the European League of Football, where he played for both the Frankfurt Galaxy and Berlin Thunder. During that time, he celebrated major success with the Galaxy, winning a championship and earning an All-Star nomination for his strong performances on defense.

Consistent playmaker in the secondary

Standing 1.90 meters tall, Poznanski has been a constant playmaker in the defensive backfield. Over five seasons he appeared in 45 games and recorded 179 tackles, eight tackles for loss, and ten interceptions.

Two of those interceptions were returned for touchdowns. He also added 14 pass breakups, one forced fumble, and a fumble return that he took back for another touchdown.

With his experience, physical presence, and ability to create turnovers, Joshua Poznanski remains a key piece of the Berlin Thunder defense as the team prepares for the upcoming season.
