Warsaw Eagles add veteran OL coach Gustavo Figueredo Casagrande to their staff
The Warsaw Eagles continue to build their coaching staff ahead of their first American Football League Europe season. Their latest addition is Gustavo Figueredo Casagrande, a Brazilian offensive line coach with nearly two decades of experience across two continents.

A long road to Warsaw
Figueredo Casagrande began his coaching career in Brazil, spending the years from 2008 to 2017 with the Criciuma Miners. After nearly a decade building his coaching foundation in South America, he made the move to Europe, where he has since left his mark at a number of clubs across different countries and competitions. His European journey has included stints with the Tychy Falcons and Silesia Rebels Katowice in Poland and experience in European competition before spending the last three seasons with the Paderborn Dolphins in the German Football League.
The right profile for the Eagles’ first AFLE season
For the Warsaw Eagles, Figueredo Casagrande brings exactly the kind of experience that a team preparing for its first season in the AFLE needs at the offensive line position. He knows what it takes to coach in different football environments, has worked with players from various backgrounds and understands the demands of high-level competition in Europe. With Michał Kołek already confirmed as offensive coordinator, the Eagles are assembling a coherent offensive coaching unit with clear experience and structure.
The Warsaw Eagles coaching staff is taking shape week by week, with more announcements expected in the coming weeks as the club continues to build toward their first AFLE season in 2027.
