Is this a full-time job?
No. The LCC is a project-based creator platform. It is not a traditional employment position.
Does being accepted into the LCC guarantee work?
No. Admission to the platform does not guarantee assignments, contracts, or regular engagement.
How is compensation determined?
Compensation is agreed on a project-by-project basis and depends on scope, responsibility, market, and production requirements.
Do I need to be self-employed?
For freelance-based collaborations, you must be able to issue invoices. Requirements may vary depending on project type and market.
Are travel costs covered?
Travel is generally organized independently. Depending on the assignment, individual agreements regarding reimbursement may apply.
Can I apply from outside Germany?
Yes. The AFLE LCC operates across multiple European markets.
Can I apply for more than one market?
Yes. If you are flexible and willing to travel, please indicate this in your application.
Is there a minimum commitment?
No fixed minimum commitment is required. Assignments are offered based on project needs and availability.
Can writers apply as well?
Yes. Writers, editors, and editorial contributors are welcome to apply alongside visual creators.
