Alpine Rams sign Australian defensive lineman Jack Low

The Alpine Rams have added another player to their roster with the signing of Australian defensive lineman Jack Low. The Rams bring in a young and talented player who is looking to make an impact in Europe after his college career in the United States.

College career and development

Low played his college football at Fordham University, where he developed into an important part of the defensive line over the years. After contributing as a freshman in 2021, his first season was cut short due to an injury.

In 2022, he appeared in all 12 games and became a steady presence on the defensive line. He recorded 18 tackles, including tackles for loss, and showed his ability to contribute consistently.

His role continued to grow in 2023, when he played in all games and started five of them. During that season, Low recorded 18 tackles, including two tackles for loss and one sack, while also adding quarterback pressures and a pass breakup.

Unfortunately, Low missed the entire 2024 season due to injury, but he now looks to bounce back and return to full strength.

From Australia to Europe

Before moving to the United States, Low played club football in Australia for the Brisbane Rhinos. He also has a background in rugby, which helped shape his physical playing style.

In 2025, he took part in the Canadian Football League Combine, showing his potential at the professional level.

Now, with the Alpine Rams, Low has the chance to start a new chapter in Europe and prove himself as a strong presence on the defensive line.
