Can the Alpine Rams stop QB Jameson Wang and the Panthers in Week 10?

The Alpine Rams face one of the biggest challenges of their 2026 AFLE campaign when they travel to Wroclaw for a Week 10 showdown with the Panthers. While the Rams are desperate to end a five-game losing streak, the Panthers are building momentum behind one of the league’s most productive offenses and a quarterback playing at an elite level.

QB Jameson Wang headlines a dangerous Panthers offense

Everything starts with Panthers quarterback Jameson Wang, who has quietly established himself among the AFLE’s elite passers. Through nine weeks, Wang ranks fourth in the league with 1,858 passing yards and is tied for first with 22 passing touchdowns, sharing this honor with Thunder quarterback Jakeb Sullivan and Vikings quarterback Ben Holmes.

Wang’s production is complemented by one of the league’s most effective rushing attacks. Running back Dawid Brzozowski ranks second the entire AFLE with 472 rushing yards although the missed their Week 9 game, giving Wroclaw the balance needed to punish defenses that focus too heavily on the passing game.

That combination was on full display last week as the Panthers dominated the Firenze Red Lions 62-0, sending another warning to the rest of the league before Week 10.

Rams defense faces its toughest assignment

For the Alpine Rams, stopping Wang begins with disrupting the pocket. If the Panthers quarterback is allowed to operate comfortably, he has already shown he can spread the ball efficiently and capitalize in the red zone.

Containing Brzozowski may be just as important. The league’s leading rusher forces defenses to commit extra defenders into the box, creating favorable matchups for Wang through the air. That balance has made the Panthers one of the most difficult offenses to defend in the AFLE.

The Rams are coming off a 40-17 defeat against Berlin Thunder, extending their losing streak to five games. Despite several competitive performances this season, mistakes in key situations and an inability to finish drives have continued to hurt Alpine.

Panthers have playmakers across the field

Although Berlin’s Jakeb Sullivan leads the AFLE with 1,866 passing yards and Ben Holmes tops the league with 22 touchdown passes, Wang remains firmly in the MVP conversation thanks to his efficiency and ability to lead one of the league’s hottest teams.

The Panthers‘ offense is supported by a defense capable of creating negative plays and consistently winning the battle at the line of scrimmage. Against Firenze, they delivered a complete performance, shutting out their opponent while the offense scored nine touchdowns.

Week 10 Prediction: Can the Rams pull off the upset?

The Rams certainly have the talent to compete, but slowing down Wang and Brzozowski alongside his potent running back group for four quarters is a completely different challenge. Alpine must sustain long offensive drives, avoid turnovers and keep the Panthers‘ explosive offense on the sideline.

If the Rams fail to establish control early, Wroclaw has enough firepower to turn the game into another one-sided affair. On current form, the Panthers enter Week 10 as deserved favorites, and unless Alpine finds an answer for one of the AFLE’s most balanced offenses, extending their losing streak appears the most likely outcome.
