Former Temple cornerback Torey Richardson joins Wroclaw Panthers
The Wroclaw Panthers have found their fourth and final American import player for the upcoming 2026 The League Europe season. American cornerback Torey Richardson joins the Polish franchise and will form the American duo in the Panthers defense together with pass rusher Deshon Hall.
Richardson brings strong college experience and athletic ability to the Panthers secondary.
College career from JUCO to Temple
Richardson began his college career at Blinn College, where he played during the 2019 and 2021 seasons. In the spring 2021 season, he recorded 20 tackles in six games and showed his potential as a defensive back.
After his time in junior college, Richardson transferred to UTEP, where he played from 2021 to 2023. During that time, he appeared in multiple games and became an important part of the defensive rotation. In the 2023 season, he played in 12 games and recorded 33 tackles, three tackles for loss, half a sack, one interception, eight pass breakups, and one forced fumble.
Following his time at UTEP, Richardson moved to Temple University for his final college season.
Strong final season at Temple
In the 2024 season, Richardson established himself as a starting cornerback at Temple. In 10 games, he recorded 23 tackles, one tackle for loss, one interception, and four pass deflections.
His performances helped him earn a starting role in the secondary and showed his ability to make important plays in coverage.
Final American piece for the Panthers defense
With the signing of Torey Richardson, the Wroclaw Panthers complete their group of four American import players for the upcoming season. Together with Deshon Hall, Richardson will strengthen the defensive side of the ball and add speed and coverage skills to the Panthers secondary.
As the Panthers continue preparing for their first The League Europe season, Richardson is expected to play an important role in the defensive backfield.
