French wide receiver Mahmoud Gharsallah joins the Paris Lights

The Paris Lights continue to shape their wide receiver room, signing French-Tunisian wide receiver Mahmoud Gharsallah ahead of the 2026 season. The 22-year-old adds another promising young talent to an already exciting receiving corps.

Making his mark in the French D1

Gharsallah comes from the Mololes d’Asnières in the French D1 FFFA, where he gave a first glimpse of his potential with four catches for 44 yards and a touchdown. While those numbers reflect his early stage of development, they point to a player with the ability to make plays when given the opportunity.

Learning from experienced playmakers

At the Paris Lights, Gharsallah will have the perfect environment to develop his game. With American wide receivers Tristen Wallace and JJ Hopp ahead of him on the depth chart, the 22-year-old will have two experienced and proven playmakers to learn from on a daily basis. That kind of mentorship alongside competitive playing opportunities could be exactly what Gharsallah needs to take the next step in his career.

With Gharsallah on board, the Paris Lights are putting together a wide receiver room that blends youth and experience in equal measure ahead of their debut season in 2026.
