LFA Triple Crown wide receiver JJ Hopp joins Paris Lights
The Paris Lights have added another strong piece to their offense by signing American wide receiver JJ Hopp. He is expected to form a dangerous wide receiver duo together with Tristen Wallace.
Unique offensive approach
The Lights are taking a different approach compared to other franchises. They have decided to use two American wide receivers while building their offense around Canadian quarterback Evan Hillock. With Hopp and Wallace, the team is clearly focusing on a strong passing attack.
Success in Mexico’s LFA
Hopp joins the Lights after an outstanding season in the Mexican LFA, where he won the Triple Crown as a wide receiver. This means he led the league in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns, which is a rare and impressive achievement.
Experience in Europe and college career
Hopp already has experience in European football, having played for the Saarland Hurricanes, Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns, and the Vienna Knights. This experience should help him adjust quickly to the new team.
He played his college football at Washburn University, where he improved his performance year after year. His strong development earned him a spot at the training camp of the Tennessee Titans in 2019.
With his production, experience, and playmaking ability, JJ Hopp is expected to be a key weapon in the Paris Lights offense for the upcoming season.
