Paris Lights sign All-Big 12 cornerback Marque Collins
The Paris Lights have added another A-import player to their roster by signing cornerback Marque Collins for the 2026 The League Europe season.
Strong college career
Collins played college football at Weber State University before continuing his career with the BYU Cougars. He spent a total of seven years at the college level, including six seasons at Weber State.
During his college career, Collins appeared in 59 games, starting 42 of them. He recorded 124 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, 28 pass breakups, seven interceptions, and 35 pass deflections.
All-Big-12 recognition
His performances at BYU earned him an All-Big-12 Honorable Mention, highlighting his strong impact in one of the top conferences in college football.
Key piece for the defense
Collins is the second A-import player in the Paris Lights defense, joining veteran defensive back Exavier Edwards in what is shaping up to be an experienced and talented secondary.
With his experience and playmaking ability in the secondary, Collins is expected to play an important role in the Lights defense for the upcoming season.
