Sullivan Breaks Touchdown Record as Thunder Cruise Past Paris Lights

Sullivan breaks the single game touchdown record as Thunder show their full potential

Cool Down — Built to Recover. Code AFLE

Final Score: Berlin Thunder at Paris Lights – 47:8

No Contest From the First Drive

The first down count said it all: 31 to 10 in Berlin’s favour. The Paris Lights never had a real chance to keep up, and a third down efficiency of just 2 of 11 highlighted the deeper problems in their offense on the day. Bad snaps and turnovers added to a disjointed afternoon that simply did not reflect what this Paris Lights team is capable of.

Sullivan Rewrites the Record Books

Jakeb Sullivan put on a performance for the ages. The American quarterback threw seven passing touchdowns, a new single game record in the AFLE, surpassing the previous mark of five and doing so with characteristic precision and control. His two favourite targets of the entire season were both on the receiving end of the historic afternoon, with Bais Kouanda hauling in three touchdowns and Jon Cole taking four. Six of seven red zone trips converted into points told the full story of just how clinical this Thunder offense can be when everything clicks.

Defense Completes the Masterclass

It was not just the offense delivering. The Thunder defense kept the Lights to just 8 points and made life uncomfortable throughout, completing what was genuinely one of Berlin’s most complete performances of the season.

What’s Next

Berlin head into the final week of the regular season for a rematch against the Panthers Wroclaw. The Paris Lights stay home to face the Alpine Rams in Week 14, a chance to end their season on a better note and remind everyone what they are truly capable of.
