Timur Beckmann becomes offensive coordinator of the Paris Lights
The Paris Lights have found their offensive coordinator for their first season in The League Europe. German coach Timur Beckmann will lead the offense of the French franchise.
Championship experience from Rhein Fire
Beckmann spent the past seasons as part of the coaching staff of Rhein Fire, where he worked as tight ends coach. During his time with Fire, the team won the championship in both the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
His experience in a successful program is expected to help build a strong offensive structure in Paris.
Coaching background in Germany and the United States
Before joining Rhein Fire, Beckmann gained coaching experience with several teams. He worked with the Weinheim Longhorns and the Düsseldorf Panthers in Germany. He also had a coaching stop at the University of South Dakota in the United States.
Building the offense in Paris
Now Beckmann will be responsible for leading the offense of the Paris Lights. The team has already made its first offensive signings, bringing in American wide receiver Tristen Wallace and Canadian quarterback Evan Hillock.
Together with these players, Beckmann will begin shaping the offensive identity of the Lights as they prepare for their first season in The League Europe.
