Wroclaw Panthers sign five homegrown players across all three phases
The Panthers Wroclaw are getting closer to their final roster, announcing five homegrown signings that add depth and familiarity across offense, defense and special teams ahead of the 2026 season.
Gajewski anchors the offensive line
Offensive lineman Jakub Gajewski returns for another season with the Panthers after three years with the club. Having grown into an increasingly important part of the offensive line year after year, Gajewski is expected to play a key role up front as the Panthers make their AFLE debut.
Wojakiewicz enters his sixth Panthers season
Tight end Mateusz Wojakiewicz is one of the most loyal figures in the Panthers organization, entering his sixth season with the club at just 25 years old. Having also gained college experience at New Mexico Military Institute, Wojakiewicz brings both football knowledge and deep familiarity with the program. Across 50 games he has recorded 15 catches for 84 receiving yards, but his value goes well beyond the stat sheet as an important run blocker. His best receiving season came in 2025 with nine catches for 54 yards, a promising sign heading into the new campaign.
Gembara brings experience to the defensive line
Defensive lineman Lukasz Gembara also returns for his sixth season with the Panthers, making him another cornerstone of the organization. The 28-year-old has appeared in 51 games and recorded 84 tackles, two sacks, seven tackles for loss, a pass breakup and a fumble return, numbers that reflect his consistent contributions to the Panthers defense over the years.
Guk adds depth at linebacker
Linebacker Patryk Guk rejoins the Panthers after two seasons with the club. The 29-year-old has primarily been a depth player throughout his time in Wroclaw, but his experience and familiarity with the system make him a valuable addition to the linebacker corps heading into the new season.
Ciurkot handles special teams duties
Completing the five signings is kicker Jakub Ciurkot, who returns to the Panthers after wearing the team’s jersey in 2024. That season he converted six of eight point after touchdown attempts, and the Panthers are bringing him back to handle their kicking duties in 2026.
With these five signings confirmed, the Panthers Wroclaw are putting the finishing touches on a roster built on loyalty, experience and depth ahead of the 2026 season.
