Berlin Thunder sign running back Kai Hunter

After announcing their new head coach Shawn Cooper, Berlin Thunder have now added another offensive piece by signing German running back Kai Hunter.

Strong season in Stuttgart

Hunter drew attention last season as part of a productive running back duo with Tomiwa Oyewo in Stuttgart. With his speed and physical running style, he played an important role in the team’s offense.

During the season, Hunter rushed for 457 yards on just 105 carries, averaging more than 4.4 yards per attempt. He also scored ten touchdowns in the regular season and helped his team collect important points during their championship run.

New role in Berlin

Now Hunter moves to the German capital, where Berlin Thunder hope he can form another strong backfield partnership, this time alongside young running back Chrisman Kyei.

With Kai Hunter joining the roster, Berlin Thunder add an efficient and proven runner as they aim to start successfully in the new era of The League Europe.
