Firenze Red Lions sign British offensive lineman Peter Hart

The Firenze Red Lions have found their next roster addition, signing British offensive lineman Peter Hart ahead of the 2026 season. Hart brings a wealth of European football experience to the Red Lions‘ offensive line.

A well-travelled career

At just 27 years old, Hart has already played for a number of clubs across Europe. His career has taken him to the Swansea Titans, Basel Gladiators, Aix Argonauts, Straubing Spiders and the Catalan Grizzlys, giving him a broad range of experience and a deep understanding of the game at the European level.

Coaching experience at a young age

What makes Hart’s profile even more unusual is that he has already stepped into a coaching role despite his young age. Most recently he served as head coach of his former college team, the Swansea Titans, showing a level of football intelligence and leadership that goes well beyond his years.

A key piece of the offensive line

Hart is expected to be an important part of the Red Lions‘ offensive front. He will line up alongside Mexican offensive lineman Abraham Chacón, forming part of what looks to be a physical and experienced unit up front.

With Hart on board, the Firenze Red Lions continue to build a well-rounded roster ahead of their debut season.
