Former California Bears‘ Tidiane Jalloh joins Paris Lights defense
The Paris Lights continue to build their defensive unit, signing 23-year-old defensive lineman Tidiane Jalloh. The addition comes hot on the heels of the appointment of defensive coordinator Darion Simmons and adds another promising piece to the Paris front line.
A path through the American college system
Jalloh made the journey through the American college system, beginning his career at Independence Community College before earning a spot with the California Golden Bears, one of the most well-known programs in the Pac-12. That experience gives him a strong football foundation and a level of preparation that will serve him well at the European professional level.
Causing problems for opposing offenses
At the Paris Lights, Jalloh will line up on the defensive line alongside Valentin Gnahoua and Randy Abandzounou, forming what looks to be a physical and disruptive front. Together, the trio will look to put opposing offensive lines under constant pressure and create opportunities for the defense to make big plays.
With Jalloh now on board, the Paris Lights are steadily building a defensive unit with both talent and depth ahead of their debut season in 2026.
