Rhein Fire have introduced their next wide receiver with the signing of Leon Friebel. The young pass catcher joins the team after finishing his college career at Division III Dickinson College.

Friebel returns to Germany with valuable experience and looks to make an immediate impact in the Fire offense.

Strong senior season at Dickinson

In his senior year at Dickinson College, Friebel became a starter and played an important role in the offense. During the season, he recorded 34 receptions for 464 yards and five touchdowns, contributing key plays and points for his team.

Ready for the next step

After gaining training and game experience at a high level in the United States, Friebel now takes the next step in his career. He joins Rhein Fire with the goal of earning playing time and helping the team’s passing game.

Competition in a strong receiver group

At Rhein Fire, Friebel enters a talented wide receiver room. The group includes former NFL receiver Kaylon Geiger Sr., homegrown standout Harlan Kwofie, and E-import Desean Scott.

Training and competing alongside experienced and proven players will give Friebel the chance to develop further and improve his game while fighting for his role in the offense.

With Leon Friebel, Rhein Fire add another motivated receiver who is ready to grow and contribute to the team’s success.
