Paris Lights sign homegrown defensive back Kenny Floret
The Paris Lights continue to build momentum following the announcement of head coach David Shelton and the signing of Valentin Gnahoua. The franchise has now added another experienced homegrown player with the signing of defensive back Kenny Floret.
Floret brings valuable experience from several European leagues and strengthens the secondary of the Paris Lights.
Experience across Europe
During his career, Floret has competed in multiple top leagues. He played in the highest French division and later gained international experience in Finland with the Kuopio Steelers, where he won the Maple League championship.
He also played in the German Football League and the European League of Football. Most recently, he competed in the ELF with the Musketeers and Stuttgart Surge.
Across three seasons in the ELF, Floret appeared in 26 games and recorded 65 tackles, two tackles for loss, two interceptions, and six pass breakups.
Championship experience
With Kenny Floret, the Paris Lights add not only a talented defensive back but also a player who understands what it takes to win. He was part of championship-winning teams with both the Stuttgart Surge and the Kuopio Steelers.
His experience, versatility, and winning mentality are expected to play an important role in the development of the Paris Lights defense as the team prepares for its first season.
