AFLE announces Homegrown territories for the first season
As the American Football League of Europe prepares for its first season, the league officially announces the Homegrown territories for the franchises that have confirmed participation so far. This announcement provides clarity and support for local talent development as each team builds its roster for competition.
What is a Homegrown player?
In AFLE, a Homegrown (HG) player is defined as an athlete whose first organized tackle football experience took place within the team’s assigned Homegrown country or region.
To qualify, the player must have completed at least two seasons of organized tackle football in the designated territory. This rule helps teams develop and showcase local talent.
