Wroclaw Panthers retain four key homegrown players

The Wroclaw Panthers continue to strengthen their roster, securing the futures of four important homegrown players ahead of the 2026 season. The quartet brings a wealth of experience and production to both sides of the ball.

A proven weapon in the receiving corps

On the offensive side, wide receiver Kacper Jaszewski stays with the Panthers after establishing himself as one of the most productive receivers in the team’s history. Across 35 games he has recorded 76 receptions for 935 yards and nine touchdowns, making him a reliable and dangerous weapon for the Panthers offense going into the new season.

Versatility and experience in the secondary

Veteran Adam Lary also re-signs, bringing 47 games of Panthers experience to the defensive backfield. His career numbers of 158 tackles, six tackles for loss, four interceptions, two forced fumbles and an impressive 30 pass deflections paint the picture of a player who consistently makes big plays and impacts games in multiple ways.

A leader in the linebacker corps

Linebacker Hubert Ogrodowczyk is another key retention for the Panthers defense. Across 48 games he has recorded 183 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, 12 sacks and nine pass deflections, making him one of the most impactful defensive players in the team. As one of the clear leaders in the locker room, his continued presence will be crucial to the Panthers‘ defensive identity in 2026.

The engine of the defense

Completing the quartet is middle linebacker Krzysztof Wis, arguably the most statistically impressive of the four. In 46 games for the Panthers he has accumulated 238 tackles, 26.5 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, four interceptions, six pass deflections and three forced fumbles. Those numbers make him one of the most productive linebackers in European football and a cornerstone of everything the Wroclaw Panthers do on defense.

With these four key players retained, the Wroclaw Panthers are building on a strong foundation of loyalty and proven talent as they prepare for the 2026 season.
