Spanish offensive lineman Celestin Ngimbi joins the Paris Lights

The Paris Lights have signed their first Spanish homegrown player thanks to the Spanish Solidarity Rule. Celestin Ngimbi, who was originally set to play for the Madrid Bravos, has now joined the Lights for the 2026 season and will be an important part of their offensive line.

European football experience

Ngimbi has been playing American football in European competitions since 2021. He spent 2021 and 2022 with the Barcelona Dragons before moving to the Paris Musketeers in 2023. Over the past two years, the 186 cm, 140 kg lineman played for the Madrid Bravos, where he held a key role despite being only 23 years old.

Key anchor for the Lights

Now with the Paris Lights, Ngimbi is expected to be a strong anchor in the offensive line, protecting quarterback Evan Hillock and helping establish a solid foundation for the team’s offense.
