Alpine Rams sign dual-threat quarterback Gabriel Cunningham as QB1
The Alpine Rams have found their starting quarterback for the upcoming season, signing American dual-threat quarterback Gabriel Cunningham. The 30-year-old brings a lot of experience and mobility to lead the offense of the new Swiss franchise.
Experienced journey across college and pro football
Cunningham played college football at Texas Tech and New Mexico before starting his professional career. Over the years, he has gained experience with several teams in Europe and beyond, including the Bremerhaven Seahawks, Bad Homburg Sentinels, Fehérvár Enthroners, and most recently the Leipzig Kings. He also had stops with the Coritiba Crocodiles and the Tucson Sugar Skulls.
This journey has helped Cunningham develop into a well-rounded and experienced quarterback, ready to take on a leading role.
Dual-threat ability as a key weapon
Cunningham is known for his mobility and playmaking ability. Thanks to his speed, agility, and explosiveness, he is always a threat to create big plays, both through the air and on the ground.
His dual-threat style gives the Rams offense more flexibility and makes it harder for defenses to predict their plays.
Surrounded by talented weapons
In Switzerland, Cunningham will work with a talented group of receivers, including Kevin Kaya and Pierre Edouard Moudourou, as well as athletes Enrique Aspinall and Devan Burrell, who can contribute not only as wide receivers but also as defensive backs. With these weapons around him, the Rams have the potential to build a dynamic and exciting offense.
Now, it will be up to Cunningham to lead the team on the field and show the potential of the new franchise right from the start of the season.
